He has been involved with the development of a number of projects of varying in size and complexity, including:
- Gold: Cowal, North Mara, Macraes, San Gregorio, Sissingue, Didipio and Laizhou bacterial oxidation
- Base metals & other: Balama graphite, Talison Greensbushes chemical grade plant 3 crushing, Lumwana copper, Stockman lead/zinc, OCP phosphate wash plants, and Spinifex Ridge molybdenum
- Iron Ore: Mesa J, Tonkolili, Marillana and Hamersley Iron Operations
His international experience extends to working in Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Zambia, Tanzania, South Africa, Uruguay and Cote d’Ivoire.
Gavin is a senior member of the CPC Project Design team and has been with the company since early 2012. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree from UWA and a Post Graduate Diploma of Extractive Metallurgy – WASM.
