Overview

Tronox is a global vertically integrated producer of titanium dioxide and inorganic chemicals, which mines and processes titanium ore, zircon and other materials and manufactures titanium dioxide pigment, specialty-grade titanium dioxide products and high-purity titanium chemicals.

CPC provides engineering services to Tronox’s West Australian region encompassing the mine (Cooljarloo), dry and synthetic rutile plant (Chandala) and Titanium Dioxide plant (Kwinana).

The annual capital spend between these three sites is in excess of $40million AUD and is budgeted across multiple projects ranging in size from $100,000 to $5,000,000.

CPC has provided multi-disciplined engineering and support services for the past 4 years to support this annual capital spend with a “cradle to grave approach” for each project encompassing:

  • Concept Studies
  • Feasibility Studies including generation of local business case
  • Detail design and Procurement
  • Project Execution (construction)
  • Commissioning and handover
