Requirement
Lanfranchi was one of first mines to install a paste plant, for this reason, an upgrade of the old structure was required.
Addition of new borehole when existing bore became unserviceable
Design and construction of conveyors and conveyor extensions together with new
structural steel to service the new borehole
Facility for truck loading of paste
Highlights and Achievements
Successful retrofitting of conveyors to new structure and new borehole location
Inclusion of new sump and hopper
Novel conveyor extension design including pivot at top end to provide access to the borehole
Adaptation of the initial design to allow flexibility
