Talison Lithium Crushing Projects
CPC has recently completed the engineering design for a 500 t/h Chemical Grade Plant 2 (CGP2) crushing circuit at Talison Lithium’s Greenbushes Plant in Western Australia. The circuit includes primary and secondary crushing (jaw, cone), HPGR, screening, interconnecting conveyors and a stockpile reclaim.
The CGP2 expansion will effectively double the lithium concentrate production of the current Greenbushes lithium processing facility, with the crushing plant processing 2.4 Mtpa of spodumene ore. CGP2 was commissioned in late 2019.
Immediately following the completion of CGP2 crushing circuit, CPC was engaged to design the 1,000 t/h Chemical Grade Plant 3 (CGP3) project. This expansion project will provide an additional 4.8 Mtpa of spodumene ore processing capacity for Talison Lithium.
