CPC Engineering was awarded the contract to deliver blasting and painting services to address the deterioration of the steel substrate at Berth 3, Port of Albany.

The project scope included:

  • Development of work methodology, including floating platform design, engineering, and installation

  • Encapsulation measures to protect the surrounding environment

  • Delivery of high-risk asset refurbishment works within an active export and receival facility

  • Surface treatment and associated electrical installations

  • Implementation of comprehensive QA/QC requirements, all undertaken in a challenging working environment
