CPC Engineering was awarded the engineering design, procurement, site construction support and commissioning contract for the Balama Graphite Project in August 2017 by Syrah Resources Limited.​​

The 2Mt/a processing facility is the worlds largest natural graphite concentrator with a nameplate production of 350,000 t/a graphite concentrate in 6 size fractions.​

Engineering design, including equipment procurement services, were completed in less than 12 months. Equipment was globally sourced with numerous packages expedited from China. CPC teamed up with Brazilian graphite processing consultants to deliver this revolutionary graphite concentrator.​
